Freestanding or wall mounted, it needs a solid, level base under every post, either concrete or properly laid paving on a suitable sub-base. Where it is fixed back to the house, the wall also has to be sound enough to take the load, which we check at the survey.

Yes. The frame is designed to accept glass sliding doors, louvred screens and infill panels on any side, so an open veranda can be closed in to make a sheltered garden room. Sliding doors and glazed panels give the most shelter, while louvred screens are designed to let air through, and enclosing a veranda fully can bring building regulations into play, so tell us your plans before you order.

The powder-coated aluminium comes in anthracite, black and white as standard, with additional RAL colours to order, letting you coordinate the veranda with your home's windows, doors and outdoor scheme.
