Both are wall-mounted flat-roof verandas. The Skyline keeps the slimmest cubist profile in the range and spans up to 7m by 5m on two posts, while the <a href="https://romaverandas.com/products/ultraline-classic">Ultraline</a> models add a roof overhang or front strip for a heavier architectural look.

Up to 7m wide with a 5m projection, which covers a full-width patio. We measure the wall at survey and confirm the span before anything is specified.

It is laid to a slight fall that is invisible from below, so rainwater runs to the gutter rather than pooling on the glass. Leaves and grit will still settle on a shallow pitch, so plan on two or three cleans a year, and more if the veranda sits under trees.

That is the intention behind it. Panoramic sliding walls turn the Skyline into a bright, sheltered garden room, and a rafter-mounted infrared heater extends the season well into the colder months. Glazing can be added later if you would rather build it up in stages.

A projection of this depth does reduce the direct sunlight reaching the room behind, though the laminated glass roof and slim rafters keep the loss far smaller than a solid roof would. Where a room is already dark we can specify clear rather than heat-reflective glass at survey.
