The Topline from Roma Verandas is the veranda that suits the most homes. Its sloping roof, adjustable between 5 and 15 degrees, sheds rain and snow rather than holding it, and the adjustable hinge profile lets the structure sit neatly under eaves, soffits and awkward rooflines that a fixed flat roof cannot accommodate.

Choose laminated safety glass or 16mm polycarbonate, in a wide range of standard colours. The XL version spans further still, with heavier posts and a reinforced gutter for exposed sites.

This is the Topline's strength. The adjustable hinge profile lets the roof pitch be set anywhere between 5 and 15 degrees, so the structure can tuck under soffits, gutters and low eaves that a fixed flat roof simply cannot clear. Bungalows are a common Topline application.

Glass is quieter in rain and easier to keep looking good, and it is what most customers choose. Sixteen millimetre polycarbonate is lighter, which can help on the longest spans. We will specify both so you can compare them properly.

With laminated safety glass, rain reads as a soft patter rather than a drumming, and the pitch keeps water moving off instead of pooling. Polycarbonate is noticeably louder in heavy rain, which is worth factoring in if the veranda sits outside a bedroom window.

The XL takes the same design and adds heavier posts, a more substantial gutter and concealed gutter fixings, allowing much larger spans and higher snow and wind loading. If your site is exposed or you want maximum width, the XL is the version to ask about.

The Topline is engineered for UK snow loading, and the pitch means snow slides clear rather than settling. The maximum span stated may reduce on exposed or high-altitude plots, and we allow for that at survey.
